2011

2 Corinthians 8:21

We are careful to be honourable before the Lord, but we also want everyone else to see that we are honourable.

Went to church for Watchnight Service 2010, to usher in 2011..

Few people went up to thank God for His wondeful blessings, financially, health, work, studies, spiritual growth, etc.

Pastor Heng preached on the above passage. He boldly challenged the congregation these few questions as we reflected on 2010, and think about 2011..

- Whatever we did, was it honest?
- Were we trying to bluff God or men?
- How did the year past? How did I live?
- Do I have anything to thank God for?
- Whatever actions I did, will is pass through God?
- How much time did I spend on spiritual matters, e.g growth, fellowship?

He reminded us through Psalm 139, that God sees and knows every little detail of our lives. He also reminded us, that Jesus is coming soon, and whatever opportunity of serving will end, by then,

Are we ready to be accountable to God?

I had done my reflections earlier on, and here is the Watchnight testimony, because it was super lengthy, i sent it directly to the office, to be printed out and placed into the bulletine..

Gonna sleep now.. Zzzzzz... Tired after setting up another page for book study on "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan...

Blessed New Year to all!
